GRAND RAPIDS, MI – This past weekend I had the pleasure to cover Nice & Naughty’s Winter Carnival event.
Nice & Naughty is a Michigan based adult retail store with locations in both Grandville & Saginaw Township. The Lovers Carnival event at the Orbit Room in Grand Rapids was a one year anniversary party for the opening of their Grandville location.
The evening featured rope bondage performances by Lord Thomas & Angel L’Amoure. Those in attendance were impressed with the artistry on display as Lord Thomas tied & suspended Angel to music on the main stage.
A burlesque show also was part of the evenings festivities as Lady Loralei, Maid Marian & Stella Loroux preformed their brand of burlesque through out the evening.
We also were treated to a eligible bachelor auction, where a number of handsome guys were auctioned off including Nice & Naughty company President, Mike. All proceeds from the auction benefited the Safe Haven Ministries, an organization that helps women and children find freedom from domestic violence.
In the fashion show the audience was given the chance to see some of the most popular lingerie items sold at Nice & Naughty in action, as the ladies strutted their stuff on stage.
If that weren’t enough entertainment for the evening, those in attendance were also treated to a vendor fair, featuring a wide verity of booths with everything from liquor bottle soap dispensers to chair massage. Some of the highlights included Okamoto USA promoting their new condom line the Zero Zero Four, Angel L’Amoure Enterprises selling rope, paddles, & other BDSM accouterments, & SINergy who were selling tickets to their upcoming BDSM Educational Conference in July.
Lovers Carnival was a fun evening for all that attended and what seemed to be a great opportunity for many to dip their toes into BDSM and see if it was something that interested them.
