TERRE HAUTE – Think Kink presents Rope work by Suki on Saturday, October 17, 2015 · 6:00 PM –12:00 AM, an introduction to Japanese Style Rope Bondage.
Contrary to popular belief, you don’t have to know a lot of fancy or complex knots to do rope bondage! This class is for the total beginner, and welcomes those who have never handled rope before. We’ll cover the basics of getting started with Japanese style rope bondage (Shibari/Kinbaku), including a brief overview, history, and safety considerations. You’ll then learn to tie 2 or 3 fundamental ties and some techniques to use them with your partner.
Requirements: It is helpful to have at least two 25′ pieces of rope, but I will bring some extra to lend. It’s easiest if you have a partner, but some of the ties can be done on yourself.
