Please join us for a look into Tantra! What is it? What is it not? It’s an introductory workshop looking at the basics, but we will also touch on what a practice in tantra can open up surrounding understandings of gender and pleasure.

Tantra 101: Cultivating Conscious Intimacy
“A discussion and participatory workshop with Vadoma and Aeshe”

Dress code: Wear comfortable clothing that is easy to move and meditate in.

Description:
This evening workshop is open to singles, couples, and moresomes of all genders and orientations. Participants will be introduced to practices that assist them in becoming aware of their own creative energy and directing that energy to maximize joy, pleasure, and intimate connection in their lives.
The evening includes:
Meditation & conscious breathing practices
Energy awareness & direction
Communication & listening practices
Discussions on feminine and masculine energy
Conversation about sexual healing
Attendees should bring a pillow, cushion or zafu for sitting on the floor. Please note there is no nudity or sexually explicit practice in this workshop; however, we will discuss sexuality as it relates to intimacy and pleasure. Workshop is $20.00 per person, or $30.00 per couple.

Vadoma is a genderqueer sexuality and kink educator who has worked with The Tool Shed (Milwaukee, WI) for several years. She presents at regional events, conferences, and sex shops in the Midwest. She will have completed her tantra instructor certification with TantraNova Institute this Spring. She believes that during sexual experience we have the ability to connect on a primal and visceral level beyond words, where we are most ourselves. She is a priest(ess) of Lilith and a Tantrika. Aeshe is a queer and polyamorous trans woman, kinkster, and priestess of sacred sexuality. She considers herself both an artist and activist, sustained by myriad blissful moments of life and love. Many of these moments have been on stage in dance and musical theatre productions. In the past, she has also presented programs in non-profit and governmental settings on environmental and sustainability issues.
