Taking Care of Yourself WEEKEND, April 18-20

MUNCIE, Ind. – Nurturing the three facets of Self leads to a healthier, happier, more balanced life!

It’s easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of life, and even within “The Lifestyle” we’re often so busy taking care of others (no matter which side of “the slash” we identify as!) that we forget to take care of ourselves.

E.D.G.E. and Klub Layden invite you to Take Care of Yourself, with a weekend event which will leave you rejuvenated, relaxed, and ready to take on the world! (Or at least Monday!)

Friday evening kicks off with Kink in the Klub, an evening dedicated to embracing and enjoying the hedonistic pleasures of the flesh.  A skills demonstration of flogging with Sir Dennis will start things off right, followed by a Dungeon Play Party lasting until the wee hours of the morning.

Saturday, a continental breakfast will fuel participants for a day of classes and workshops, and a comfortable, spacious social area will be available for casual conversation (or colouring, or naps, or…).   Need to de-stress?  Check out the Recharge Zone for an opportunity to relax in a soothing, peaceful environment.  Leather looking lackluster?  BootBlacks will be at the ready to breathe life back into your leather items!  A little’s room will be filled with laughter and fun. A puppys play area as well as a special place for our Ponies!

Perhaps you’re service-oriented, but aren’t sure how to get involved.  Collect a special Service Sash from the front desk and flag yourself as “Ready To Help!”  (No obligation, no stress, you decide when you want to serve, and for how long!  Just turn your sash in when you’re ready to take a break!).  Maybe some Retail Therapy is just the thing… vendors will be available to take care of your needs!

Lunch will be offered Saturday, and a cook-out in the evening will let you regroup, refuel, and get ready for the Delightful Debauchery of the Dungeon Party.

Not quite ready for the fun to end?  Sunday will offer casual conversation, space for personal or small group meditation or other focus groups, a light breakfast, and a gentle transition to the new week.

E.D.G.E. (Educational Discussion Group for Everyone) is a monthly group which gathers at Klub Layden to discuss topics of interest to the East Central Indiana community.  Topics are chosen by the group, and experienced group facilitators encourage dialogue, debate and discussion, along with a wonderful opportunity to meet and chat in a non-confrontational, respectful environment.

Klub Layden (www.KlubLayden.com)  is a Sex-Positive, All-Lifestyle Inclusive club located in Muncie, IN.  Layden has hosted Kink in the Klub for over a decade, and continuously looks for ways to better serve the Lifestyle Community (and the community at large).  Recent efforts include sponsoring the Naptown Critter Club, E.D.G.E. monthly discussions, and Trick Her Treat, which raised $1800 for Toys for Tots.   As a private, membership-only club, Klub Layden is a BYOB, clothing-optional facility (with minimal exceptions!).  A full dungeon monitored by trained DM’s provides plenty of play space, and private rooms allow for more intimate scenes and interactions, as well (and a large multi-person shower to clean up afterwards!!)  The DJ keeps the music going all night long, with plenty of dance floor for even the most energetic dancers!  Snacks, mixers and coffee are always available, and friendly staff work hard to make your visit great!  (Cameras and cell phones are not permitted in the club.  Phones may be checked in at the office for those who need to have access, however.)
