MILWAUKEE – There has been much talk about how do we be safe in the kink community? How do we keep each other safe and get the important info to the ears and hearts of the newbie and drive it home to those that have been around awhile?
How about with once monthly free class that ends with an open discussion on the topics that people are concerned about right now??
Hosted by Auddiejane (cause lets face it she’s cuter than I am), backed up by new and old leadership. It will be a short class for the new, the seasoned and all other kinksters wondering how to be safe, how to define what safety is and how to speak up when there is a problem.
**The class will be broken up into three parts:
1. Intro to terms and playing nice with others in any scene.
2. Being safe for yourself and for others and how to speak up.
3. Introduction of ideas on how to improve our kink community (opening up to discussion).**
At the end of each section there will be a short Q&A to clear anything up, and the third part will be a town-meeting-style discussion that will last about an hour. Some of the ideas that will be put forth in the discussion section this month will include:
New Munch Rules, how do we make them work for us and how to display them.
How do we create a supportive environment for new people to come into?
Have suggestions about what the content should include, or resources you think are important for others to know? Please contact auddiejane and let her know.
Its our community, the only way to make it work is to make it work together!!
