CHICAGO – The South dominated American Brotherhood Weekend at the Leather Archives & Museum with Eileen Sanders, Ms. Southern Coastal States Leather 2013, winning American Leatherwoman 2015 and David Hudson, South East Leatherboy 2004, winning American Leatherboy. Dominic Chevalier, Mr. Oregon State Lather 2008, grabbed the American Leatherman title for 2015.

Dominic had stiff competition for the title with Sean Patrick Healy, a Mr. Chicago Leather 2014 contestant, representing Chicago and Gabriel Green, Mr. LA Leather Bear 2014, representing California. Eileen faced Danelle King, Washington State Ms. Leather 2013. David ran unopposed but still had to get at least 80% of possible points.

This was also the 25th anniversary of ABW with many winners from past years in attendance. The LA&M’s auditorium and nearby Touche were kept at capacity throughout the weekend with people from across the country.

Along with speeches from the current International Leatherboy, International Master and slave, and International Trainer and Puppy (all from the Great Lakes region, along with International LeatherSir who was also in the audience), past ABW titleholders spoke about the history of the weekend and its affect on those who have held the title. Producers Dean Ogren, Karen Ultra and George Hester also received ABW producer back patches from Bulldog Leathers of Atlanta.

There was a bit of other news when Master Mike Zuhl, one of the judges for this year, announced the founding of the Drummer North America weekend, much to the surprise of everyone. His foundation also announced a donation of $5,000 to the Carter/Johnson Leather Library.
