ST. LOUIS — Shameless Grounds, a kink-friendly coffeehouse in St. Louis, was the victim of a break-in on Dec. 28.

In a post on their Facebook page, Shameless Grounds said two thieves broke into the business after closing on Dec. 28. The thieves stole the 100 pound safe that held $1,300 in drawer money, cash reserves, a bit of payroll, and employees tips. The safe itself was worth $400.

However, the security camera did get footage of the two thieves. The business is asking the community for help in identifying the suspects.

From their post:

Anyway, we have video of them and we would like to ask for your help in identifying them. At this point, we don’t believe that they know they were caught on camera. We have seen one of the perpetrators before. He’s been around the shop once or twice and at one point said his name was Darren (sp?) and that he was living in the neighborhood with his mother. Don’t know if that’s true or not, but it’s a place to start.

If you know either of these folks, or have any information that could lead to the location and recovery of our safe, we’re asking you to please contact us via private message or phone call.
