Satyricon’s 6th Annual Rope Intensive on May 14

SatyriconMADISON, Wisc. — Join us in May for our 6th Annual Rope Intensive! This event is a multi-presenter workshop focused on that very versatile textile, tool, and toy: ROPE!

There will be a number of stations around the venue, each with an instructor. The stations will be more free-form guidance than structured classes; this way, the lessons can be tailored to teach people at various levels of skill. Each station will be focused on a particular rope topic or type of tie. There will be the following instructors and topics:

If you can, please bring your own rope for hands-on experience. If you don’t have any, no worries! Some of the presenters will have extra to borrow for practice.

To continue learning in the months (and years) to come, please see the following instructors for more information about these educational rope groups:

If you haven’t been to a Satyricon meeting before, please come to our Meet n’ Greet sometime between 2pm and 3pm at Ground Zero Coffee (744 Williamson Street, Madison, WI 53703). Directions to the meeting place will be shared there. We often occupy the couches at the back of the cafe; just look for our red, black, and blue flower centerpiece. The rope intensive is at the same place as our regular meetings, with dinner to follow at a nearby restaurant.
