ATLANTA – Longtime leatherman and community leader Race Bannon received the Leather Leadership Award from the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force during the Creating Change Conference in Atlanta on Saturday, Jan. 26.
The Atlanta leather community was out in force for the presentation with the award being given by International LeatherSir 2011 Alan Penrod and International Leatherboy 2011 Pup Nitro.
The the Leather Leadership Award is the only leather award given by a national gay rights organization. The video of the plenary session is below. Race receives the award during the first 20 minutes of the session.
