MADISON, Wisc. — It’s that time of year again! The PRIDE Queen and King Pageant takes place at FIVE Nightclub on Sunday Aug 6th starting at 8pm!!
Do you want to represent Madison’s LGBTQA Community as the King or Queen of PRIDE in Madison? Now is your chance. The contest is open to anyone and any gender can compete for either title!
What is required?
You need to have 2 numbers prepared and on a cd and be ready to perform them.
What are the categories?
You need to perform 2 numbers of your choice….drag, lip sync, dance, sing, tell jokes…..That’s It!
How do I win?
The King and Queen will be chose based totally on tips raised. So if you are running make sure you have friends in the audience.
What do I win?
You win a crown and a sash and a ride in the OutReach PRIDE Parade on Sunday, August 20th, 2017.
Why should I run?
This is a great opportunity for YOU as a entertainer to promote and support the OutReach PRIDE Parade. There is NO COST to enter, but you MUST pre-register with Dave Eick at FIVE Nightclub or with Brian Ponce from OutReach LGBT Community Center.
There are no state restrictions to run. You can be from out of state as long as you are available Aug 20th for the Pride Parade.

The fun begins at 8pm, so come on out and help support PRIDE in a big way…no excuse for you morning risers!
Contestants, please try to be there one hour before showtime so we can organize schedule and do any sound checks if needed.

This is an 18+ event, 18+ can enter. Underage contestants are also possible. You must have permission by legal guardian to participate (in the form of a note and contact info) and you must be accompanied by an adult 18+ while at event.
