This extra party is to benefit the VFW Hall which has been so supportive and a friend to our community. Please come and help us to support those who have supported us.
In the not so distant past, we as a community faced some troubling and trying times. When so many, for good reason, had to retreat for a bit to protect themselves, the VFW stood tall and directly by our side. They did so because it was the right thing to do, not because it was easy or because it was lucrative. In Jim’s words, “we fought in wars so that people would be free to live as they see fit”.
We, as a community, often lament how we don’t have many people on our side. In this particular case, we’ve had no better friend than the VFW. If at all possible, please come out and support the venue that has been so incredibly good to us over the past few years.
