STERLING, Ill. — PFLAG of Sauk Valley in northern Illinois will hold their annual meeting this Saturday, Jan. 21, at the Woodlawn Art Academy.

Greet new board members and visit with friends – old and new – at this annual social event, which will be held at Woodlawn Arts Academy’s Farmhouse in Sterling, which boasts plenty of parking on the side in a lighted lot.
You are encouraged to bring your own beverage and a favorite munchy to share.
After more than a decade, Barb Schwamberger, one of PFLAG Sauk Valley’s founding members, is relinquishing her role as board member and office manager. The new board will be conferring emerita status in recognition of her dedicated service. She has worn many hats over the years, including president and secretary. Other long-time board members ‘retiring’ this year are Michael Soto (past president), Charles Danek, and Tom LeMoine (past treasurer). Please join us on January 21st to say thank you to these individuals who have been long-standing participants.
