PASSINGS: Ruty Mikael Arthur

TOLEDO — Ruty Mikael (Puls) Arthur, 46, formerly of Minneapolis, entered the summerland on February 16, 2017, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, after a battle with cancer.

He was born July 3, 1970 in Mankato, Minn. He married Andrew “Jake” Arthur in Toledo, Ohio, on February 8, 2016.

Ruty was an out and proud transman. He worked for Xerox for 17 years, where he helped shape their guidelines for transitioning in the workplace. He was also active in the leather community, in the Twin Cities and Toledo, and as an Alpha member of La Fraternitie du Loup-Garou.

He is survived by his beloved husband Jake, his son Marine Sergeant Dakota Blatterman, his sister Aurie Harrison and his brother by choice Chas Saxon.

La Garou will be holding a memorial for Ruty at CampOUT 2017 in July near French Lick, Ind.
