BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – With Thanksgiving being the day before our usual 4th Friday munch day, we’ve decided to move the munch date to November 30th, the 5th Friday.
Per usual, we will be at Mr. Hibachi which is out on East 3rd St. This is an opportunity for the under 21 year olds to come and fraternize in community in a casual setting. It is also a good opportunity for people who don’t like the bar scene much, and would rather socialize over yummy Asian food than cocktails. Mr. Hibachi has a range of food with an emphasis on Cantonese, but also has a Mongolian BBQ and a nice selection of sushi.
If you’ve never been to a munch, expect people to hang around, chat about their lives with deviations into bawdy dinner conversation, and eat themselves stupid at the buffet. This is a wonderful scene first step to put your toe in the water if you’ve not come to events before, and a great way to reconnect with friends you’ve known for years in an environment where people are wearing clothes.
