Palm Springs, CA – The Desert Fetish Authority, Palm Springs’ new organization for men into gear and kinky play, will hold its second event on Friday, April 13, 2012 at The Barracks in Cathedral City. The night will open with a Rope Bondage 101 Class from 7:30-9:00 pm, followed by a Gear Up Party from 9-11.
“Guys have told us that they wanted to see more weekend events and learn more kinky skills, so we’ve aimed to deliver on that,” said John McBain, one of the group’s Founding Organizers.
The Rope Bondage class will be taught by Avatar and Southern California Bondage Club member Steven Canale. Participants will not only get to watch a great demo, but, depending on the number of people who show up, get in some hands-on practice as well. Afterwards, the Gear Up Party will take over the bar and give guys the chance to socialize in a casual beer bust setting. Everyone is welcome to attend either or both activities.
DFA events have no official dress code, but attendees are encouraged to wear their favorite masculine fetish attire. February’s Launch Party attracted over 120 sexy, friendly guys eager to build a new brotherhood in the Desert. This next event is expected to draw even more!

About the Desert Fetish Authority:
The DFA is a brotherhood of men who are into fetish gear and kinky play and who want to learn more about both. It’s a next-generation organization built around the principles of Brotherhood, Gear, Education, Play, Pride and Fun. We embrace the masculinity and the eroticism of our gear and seek to grow as men by incorporating advanced forms of sexual play into our lives. We want
to find, hang out and have fun with guys like us, in real-life settings away from Internet hook-up sites and chat rooms, where we can build true bonds of fraternity and friendship.
We’re a New Guard group of guys who are striving to create the Next Guard: one that respects the knowledge and foundations laid by our forbearers, but applies them in ways that are more meaningful to our generation. We’re men for whom trust, honor and respect are important, but excessive protocol is not. We believe in the value of living a disciplined life, but not without having a lot of fun too! Newcomers and curious guys are especially welcome.
