New LRA Attendance Policy

CHICAGO – As of November 11, 2012, guest passes will no longer be issued for individuals to attend LRA as guests of the club.

LRA is open to all Full and Associate Members any time the club is open for normal club hours and special members-only events, unless a function is specifically designated otherwise, such as member meetings. For members-only events, a limited number of non-members may be invited by members of the club.

Non-members of LRA who wish to attend the facility must be at least nineteen (19) years of age, provide government issued photo identification (such as a driver’s license, state-issued ID card, passport, military ID, or an Illinois Firearm Owner’s Identification (FOID) card) for verification of identity and age and must be sponsored by a Full Member in good standing with the organization. Non-members will be required to sign a liability waiver prior to admittance with the sponsoring members membership number indicated on the liability waiver.

Non-members must abide by the LRA Attendance Policy and the restrictions described therein. Each waiver will only be effective for the date of attendance. LRA reserves the right to bar the attendance of any individual at the sole discretion of the Board of Directors or its designee.

Full Members may sponsor up three (3) complimentary non-members per month. Additional non-member attendees will be charged to the sponsoring member at a rate of $10 per guest per night, to be billed to the member the following month. In order to remain in good standing, a member MUST pay both their dues and their guest charges.

Non-members may not attend the club without securing a membership more than three (3) times in any rolling ninety-day (90-day) period. Note: this provision is currently under review

Any person whose membership application has been rejected or whose membership has been revoked MAY NOT attend LRA as the guest of a member.

Members must be present at all times while the individuals they sponsor are at the club. Non-members must leave the club when the sponsoring member leaves. Members are responsible for the behavior of the non-members they sponsor. Anyone being sponsored by a LRA member should understand LRA’s Dungeon Etiquette.

Please remember, LRA reserves the right to deny entrance to any person for any reason at the discretion of the Board of Directors or its designee.

Any questions or clarifications on the Attendance Policy can be sent to club-services@lra-chicago.org.
