MSCLL: Discussing the History of LRA, May 18 @ 9:30

CHICAGO – Were you around on Fullerton? Or Cornelia? Or even Aurora? Then this event will be just for you!

For fear of sounding like an afterschool special, LRA is pleased to announce a very special My So-Called Leather Life on Friday, May 18 starting at 9:30.

While we are celebrating our 8th year on Clark Street, the roots of LRA actually go much further back. For instance, did you know that the first Leather Rose actually dates back to the late 1980’s in Aurora, Illinois? Some do but many people don’t.

As a part of our anniversary celebration, we are inviting several former and current members to participate in a discussion regarding the Leather Rose/LRA, how we have survived, and why we are one of the best clubs around. And how LRA has been a primary force to providing a place for BDSM/Leather/Kinky folks to meet and mingle in Chicago.

We will have individuals present to talk about the Aurora, Cornelia, Fullerton and Clark Street locations. So if you were around, come out and participate, share your stories or listen to a couple that you’ve never heard. (A line up of featured guests will be published soon)

Stories about Hans (our founder) will be greatly appreciated and encouraged!! *smile*

This is will be a chance to not only hear where we have been, but also to talk about where we are going! If you are or have ever been a member of either the Leather Rose or LRA, we’d love to see you and have you contribute.

To attend this event, please send an e-mail to guest-registry@lra-chicago.org which will contain your legal name and the date of the event. Remember, only one guest pass is issued per e-mail request.

If you have any questions or would like to participate, please contact us at information@lra-chicago.org.

Thank you and we hope to see you on the 18th!
