“We look for a panel that represents the diversity within our community,” said MME Co-Producer and Mr. Minneapolis Eagle 2013 Ryan Brown. “Even within the subculture that is leather and kink, people have a wide variety of experience and we want our panel to reflect that.”

For the second year in a row, Aloft Minneapolis will serve as the host hotel. Located just blocks from eagleBOLTbar, the hotel is offering a special discounted rate of $109 a night when people make reservations using the code: MME2015. People wishing to reserve a room should contact Bernadette at Aloft at 612-455-8403.

New to the contest this year is the Mr. Minneapolis Eagle Contest Weekend Yapp app – a mobile app that will have the schedule, judge’s bios, MME staff, sponsors and more! Download Yapp to your iOS or Android mobile device and enter ID: MMEWEEKEND to get all the details in the palm of your hand.

“People are on the go and need to have one central place to access information,” said MME Co-Producer, eagleBOLTbar Social Media, and Mr. Minneapolis Eagle 2012 Derek Harley. “Our mobile Yapp app gives our attendees all the information they need to fully enjoy the weekend from contest events to bar specials.”

Patrons of the eagleBOLTbar are eligible to compete for Mr. Minneapolis Eagle 2015. Applications can be download at the eagleBOLTbar website – www.eagleboltbar.com – and are due by November 13.

“We encourage anyone who is interested in competing,” said Harley. “MME is not part of a feeder system of titles and running is the only way to gain competition experience. If you don’t win, you’ve gained valuable insight and shared a collective experience. If you do win, the past MMEs will mentor, support, and encourage you on your journey to IML.”

Highlights of the contest weekend include: Friday night (Nov 14) Greet the Meat where attendees get to know the contestants and judges, Saturday afternoon (Nov 15) educational opportunities from Kink U by Titans of the Midwest, Saturday night is Mr. Minneapolis Eagle 2015 contest, Sunday (Nov 16) features both a brunch and GearTunes.
