MINNEAPOLIS — On April 7, 2018, Minnesota Leather Pride was proud to sash their 2018 title family. Ms. Minnesota Leather Pride Evie, and Minnesota Leather Boy Chris.
Last year, this contest made waves by eliminating legal ID and sexuality requirements for our titles. This year we opened up even more by removing the gender requirements all together. We only asked that our contestants identify with their chosen title. This allowed us to have some amazing contestants for the titles.
Minnesota Leather Pride Weekend 2018 was bittersweet for many of us as we mourned the loss of one of the founders of our organization, Sam Carlisle. Despite the feelings of loss, we were amazed by the turnout of our community both local and not. We had wonderful presenters, judges and attendees. We are proud of our community and how they came together.
Keep an eye out for more announcements in the coming months about the Weekend and our associated events.
Once again, we would like the congratulate our 2018 MNLP Title Family Ms. Minnesota Leather Pride Evie, and Minnesota Leather Boy Chris, we all look forward to seeing what you accomplish during your year.
