DETROIT – The Hayloft Salloon in Detroit will be the site of the 2013 Michigan LeatherSir/Leatherboy, Michigan Community Bootblack and Ms. Michigan Leather contests on Friday, Feb. 22, and Saturday, Feb. 23.
Winners of the contests will go on to represent Michigan at Great Lakes Leather Weekend in Indianapolis this August.
The judges for all the contests are Boy Jim Coleman, Michigan Leatherboy 2011; Sir Ernie Johnson, Indiana LeatherSIR 2012; and boy Mark, Great Lakes Leatherboy 2012. The contestant handler is boy Eddie and Great Lakes LeatherSir 2012 Sir Papa Bear is the emcee.
The Hayloft Saloon is at 8070 Greenfield Rd. in Detroit. The events start at 9 p.m. on Feb. 22.
