LOUISVILLE – On November 28th, we’ll be hosting our annual Orphan’s Thanksgiving at 8:00pm.
It started as an event for those of us who don’t have family nearby, but has grown to something much more than that. We even have it a little later in the evening so that those with other obligations earlier in the day can still come out to join us for a second turkey dinner or a piece of pie with friends. Drop by and celebrate the holiday with us!
We gather at Cracker Barrel right off I-65 on Crittenden for their famous and delicious Thanksgiving dinner special that doesn’t involve toiling away in the kitchen for hours, piles of dirty dishes, and months of boring leftover turkey, for a very nice price. Here is their own description of it:
“Gather around Cracker Barrel’s table to enjoy a festive turkey n’ dressing meal complete with baked ham, sweet potato casserole with pecans, cranberry relish, your choice of vegetable, a beverage (milkshakes not included), and made-from-scratch biscuits or corn muffins, as well as a tasty slice of Pumpkin Pecan Streusel pie for dessert, all for 9.99. This special Thanksgiving offering is available only on Thursday, November 28, starting at 11 a.m.”
Because I need an EXACT headcount, RSVP’s here on Facebook are welcome, but will not get you a seat saved. You will need to email michael@louisvillemunch.co
We hope you’ll come out and join us! Send me that email and get your seat(s) reserved. Keep in mind, this event is still 18+!
