ATLANTA – LLC began working toward implementation of a college scholarship program in 2012 and awarded the first college scholarship at the 2014 Conference in Philly. This first scholarship, named in honor of Jack McGeorge, was created with the donation from the Nashville Southeast Regional Committee.*
The Board was determined to make as much as a difference as possible for future leaders. With that in mind a Friday night auction was held from donations from vendors and individuals which was successful enough to be offering two $1000 scholarships!
On behalf of the Board of Directors it gives me immense pleasure to announce that LLC will open up scholarship applications as of July 1, 2015. LLC continues the vision to help defray some of the college expense for those talented and deserving students within our community.
The timeline for both the Jack McGeorge Scholarship and the Vendor Scholarship are as follows:

Because of the success of the Friday evening auction in 2015 LLC is able to offer two $1000 scholarship in 2016!

July 1, 2015: Begin accepting applications
October 1, 2015: Deadline for application closes (no exceptions) and all applications must be submitted to Selection Committee
October 30, 2015: Scholarship Selection Committee submits recipient name to LLC Board
Notification of applicant by November 15th, 2015 so they can prepare to be in Atlanta for LLC
Scholarship awarded at LLC XX Atlanta at awards luncheon on Saturday, March 19th, 2016.
NOTE: Student may apply for both scholarships if they meet the criteria BUT they must be submitted individually and one person may not be awarded both scholarships.
