EVANSVILLE — The Vanderburgh County Commissioners will be voting on adding sexual orientation and gender identity to the county’s civil rights code. We need SPEAKERS and ATTENDEES from Evansville / Vanderburgh County to come speak in FAVOR of adding these categories to the local civil rights code (the City of Evansville already has these codes in place, but the county is voting on whether to add these categories).
We need Evansville and/or Vanderburgh County residents to come speak out in favor of this ordinance. The format of people speaking will be people introduce themselves by name and by their address, then they state their position on the ordinance and why.
