LANSING, Mich. – The Lansing Submissives and Bottoms group is having a potluck/discussion! If you’re a slave, submissive, brat, bottom, switch with a sub hat on, or any s-type, you are invited.

Topic: Communicating Effectively With Your D-Type Presenter: YarnFeminist Description: YarnFeminist will do a short presentation on communication techniques, most of which can be applied to all areas of life. She has done this presentation for the Lansing TNG as well and is a licensed Social Worker with a heavy background in communication. After the presentation, we will open it up to discussion of the topic and question/answer with YarnFeminist. Location Capital Area District Library, Downtown Branch, Basement Level, Room is Gallery C.
Rules – Subject to Change
1. Bring some sort of dish/beverage/plates/whatever for the group potluck. I’ll start a discussion thread for each event so people can post what they’re bringing to avoid duplication.
2. S-types only unless it’s an Ask a Dom panel. If you’re a switch and you start going on your Dom side, you will be asked to reign it in. If you can’t, you will be asked to leave.
3. No room is soundproof so please don’t be too loud with the topic of conversation. Not everyone is out to their friends let alone the public. We will have some level of privacy but if someone is in the room next door we may need to get friendly (physically speaking) and talk more softly. Do not let this make you afraid to come out. I will take care of any issues that arise and make sure everyone is safe and happy and comfortable.
4. Be inclusive. The only limiter to attending is being an s-type. If I find you excluding someone, regardless of the reason, you will be confronted about it. If you don’t stop, you will be asked to leave. We want to create a positive, inclusive environment for sharing and education.
5. Some events may have visual aids, like the sex ed one scheduled in October. If it fits the topic and you have a particularly odd toy that someone might not have seen, you may want to bring it along and explain it to the rest of the group. If you’re not sure, please send me a message and I can let you know if it’s ok. Needless to say it has to be able to be hidden until we get to the room with the door closed.
