LA&M publishes catalog: “Leather Archives & Museum : 25 Years”

CHICAGO — A new catalog published by the LA&M, Leather Archives & Museum : 25 Years, celebrates a milestone anniversary for the community institution. The publication can be obtained free in electronic format or purchased in print format from the LA&M website.  Among the 130 images from the Leather Archives and its collections are essays from Dr. Gayle Rubin, Dwight Skeates, Jose Santiago Perez and Jakob VanLammeren.  The catalog looks at the history of the institution, where it is today and provides insights into the future.

The Leather Archives & Museum is a library, museum and archives pertaining to leather and alternative sexual communities. The geographic collection scope is worldwide and includes all sexual orientations and genders. The library collection contains books, magazines, scholarly publications, films and electronic resources related to the subject matter. The museum collection contains original erotic art and artifacts from alternative sex organizations and individuals.
