LA&M opens Morris Taylor’s “Colorful Shades of BDSM & M/s” May 21

Leather Archives LogoCHICAGO – The Leather Archives & Museum is pleased to announce the opening of its newest exhibit, Colorful Shades of BDSM & M/s: Watercolors by the International Master 2013. The exhibit will run from May 21st 2015 to January 10th 2016. Pieces from the show will be for sale.  An opening reception will be held at the Leather Archives on May 21st 2015 from 7pm to 9pm. This reception is open to the adult public (18 and older) without charge. The artist will be present for the opening.

Morris L. Taylor spent 40 years in academia and retired in the late 1990’s with the rank of Professor Emeritus of Music. Dr. Taylor then moved to San Francisco from the Midwest and began a second successful career as a Watercolor Artist. Morris’ unique style includes realism, impressionism, and abstraction. He has exhibited his erotic watercolors in a wide variety of venues including, The Center for Sex and Culture, Club Eros Gallery, The Citadel, and at Folsom Street Fair.
As Master Morris, he participates fully in the leather scene, frequently giving workshops and demos on s/m topics. In 2013, he and his partner, Jonathan, won the International Master/slave contest. At 82, he earned the distinction of being the oldest leather titleholder ever on record.
While living in the Midwest, Taylor was a member of the
Windy City Bondage Club.
