CHICAGO – The Leather Archives & Museum, with support from the Association of Professional Piercers, is raising funds to fully digitize an amazing collection of photographs, films and papers from the legendary piercer “Sailor” Sid Diller.
The photographs, films and papers in the Sailor Sid collection are in a very fragile state. Photographs, letters and postcards from Sid are housed in plastic sleeves that are hazardous for their long term health. Reel films from Sid are dangerously close to deterioration.
