CHICAGO – The Roundtables: lively, moderated discussions held in 3 separate peer-based groups – a group for Tops / Dom/mes / Masters & Mistresses, one for Switches, and a group for Subs / Bottoms / Slaves. Each group has its own topic for discussion each month, and is facilitated by regular volunteer moderators who help focus the conversational flow and also provide continuity over time.
These are for everyone- from those who are new to those who are experienced. Whether you’re not sure how you fit in, are interested / curious, or are well-established in kinky lifestyle / play, these groups give you a safe and private emotional space in which to ask questions, share experience & explore ideas. They’re also an opportunity to develop a supportive network, to make new friends in the scene, and possibly to find a mentor.
The Roundtables are co-sponsored by GD2 and LRA, and alternate between the two locations. This month they’re held at GD2.

Dominant/Top/Master/Mistress TOPIC: “Role Definition” (topic extended from June)
Submissive/Bottom/Slave TOPIC: “Health & the Lifestyle”- We’ll talk about aspects such as: How does your physical well-being affect you in your activity as a bottom, sub or slave? Is your health impacting your play? Has some condition created issues in your relationship dynamic? Do you know what, & when, to disclose aspects of your health, and are you comfortable making that disclosure?
Switch TOPIC: “Monogamy vs Poly in kink” (topic extended from June)
