JAM May Whipnic on May 19

SHOREWOOD, Ill. – We had so much fun with our first whipnic of the season. In spite of overcast skies, we brought the crack of thunder to chase the clouds away.

Time to bring out your whips. Bring out your most favorite. Bring out the longest, the heaviest, the shortest, the most dangerous to you or others. Bring out your love for whips. Bring out your love for the warm sun.

Whipnics were created to bring people from behind closed doors and out into the beautiful wide open of the forest preserve. A chance for those who love whips and for those who are just curious of what a whipnic is. We hold them on Sunday afternoons from 12 PM until 6 PM or until the sun goes down if it’s a really great day.

Whipnics at JAM are FAMILY friendly. This means your children, your spouse who is vanilla, your significant other, your curious vanilla friends are all welcome. We warmly welcome shy newcomers who can’t attend the JAM munches or sloshes. We warmly encourage those who bring food and drink to share among family and friends.

Bring your bubbles , balls, and whatever fun goodies you take on a family picnic.

Due to this being an out door event with vanillas around also wanting to enjoy the beauty of the Hammell woods, try to keep the kinky conversation noise level reasonable. Also, no hitting of people or the foliage in the area for targets!

You can bring your own portable grill to cook up your burgers and hot dogs and other yummy meat if you’d like. Please make sure to clean up after yourselves and help keep the area in the manner in which we find it.

Please contact the Moderators if you need help finding this beautiful forest preserve. The Hammel Woods, Route 59 entrance is located south of Black Road on the East side of Route 59, next to the Crispy Waffle. We usually reserve the Shorewood Grove pavilion. If the location changes, it will b noted on the event listing.

THIS IS IN SHOREWOOD NOT JOLIET. SHOREWOOD DOES NOT SHOW UP ON THE LIST OF TOWNS IN ILLINOIS. PLEASE MAKE NOTE OF THIS FOR WHEN SEARCHING DIRECTIONS OR ENTERING ON YOUR GPS.
