ST. LOUIS – The International Puppy Club is pleased to announce information for this year’s International Puppy Weekend and International Puppy Contest, July 16-19, 2015 with the majority of the weekend’s events held at JJ’s Clubhouse, 3858 Market Street, St. Louis, MO 63110.
The weekend’s move was necessitated by the closing of our former venue, The Bad Dog Bar & Grill. We want to thank the owners and staff of the Bad Dog for their kindness and generosity not only to the IPC weekend but to the Leather and Puppy Communities as a whole. You will be missed!
Saint Louis offers a wide range of sightseeing options outside of the venue in a city dating back to the 1700’s. JJ’s Clubhouse, the new home for the International Puppy Contest, is well familiar with the Puppy Community, as is now also home to the Midwest Puppy Contest, Mr Midwest Leather Contest and the Midwest Leather Weekend. JJ’s has been a fixture in the region since 2000.
The International Puppy Contest was created to celebrate the puppy community and show the best of the best from around the country and around the world. It is all about giving puppies of any gender with or without owners or trainers a place to show off, make new friends and have fun. But that’s just the beginning of the fun and excitement. The weekend will include classes, pool parties, mosh pits, and more. Oh yes, and the International Puppy Contest. The title is not just about the collar and dog bowl, it’s a means for doing good for the community. Being confident and the best pup you can be while taking part in the weekend and having fun.
Hotel and travel information is available at www.intl-pup.com and the distinguished judges and emcees of both contests will be announced soon. Questions on the weekend can be emailed to Papa Woof Roth at midwestpuppy@gmail.com
