Howard Brown Health Center Announces Its Expanded Board of Directors

CHICAGO – At its 2014 Annual Meeting held on May 29, Howard Brown Health Center (HBHC) announced the election of seven new members to its Board of Directors and launched “40 PROUD,” a year-long campaign to commemorate HBHC’s 40 years of service to the community.

“I am very pleased to welcome our new members to our Board at what is a very exciting time for the organization,” says HBHC Board Chairman Duke Alden. “The Board provides overall vision, strategy and oversight to the organization. The newly expanded Board will play an instrumental role in guiding the organization to improve health care for our community.”

With the election of seven new members to the Board, all of whom receive their primary care at HBHC, the newly expanded Board will help ensure that its governance better reflects HBHC’s diverse patient populations.
