CHICAGO – The LRA, Chicago’s Oldest Pansexual Kink/Leather Club in furtherance of its mission of providing educational and social opportunities to the Chicago Community proudly announces “From Workspace to Playspace: Hand and Power tools in play” with Sir Travis, Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 6pm.
Finding new and different toys is always fun! Even more so when those toys are things that provide a different flair for the top, and a total mindfuck for the bottom!
We hear about “Dom Depot”, but why not include areas like the sander aisle, or dremel attachment rack in your one stop kink shop!
We will discuss a variety of ways to use both hand and power tools in a scene, with a focus on stapling, sensation, and abrasion play ranging from mild to intense. It will also include pre-planning and preparation, setup, and teardown ideas for more aggressive scenes.
About our presenter
Sir Travis began exploring BDSM in the late 90’s. After over a decade of Topping, bottoming, and all around deviant sex, he joined the public scene in 2009 to find fellowship and grow in the areas of kink he loves.
A Sadistic D-type with Daddy tendencies who subscribes to the philosophy of RACK, gravitates towards unusual toys and heavy impact, and enjoys a wide range of kinks, he is currently focused on the exploration of a Leather path and sharing the things he enjoys with others.
He has had the honor of sharing his knowledge and skills at debauchery (NC), IMAS- Beat My Valentine (IN), LIFE Detroit’s DARK Weekend, The Board of Education/Downriver Club (MI), Red Moon Rising Roundtables, The Grand Rapids Educational Munch, and GRALE’s Dom-enstration.
Actively volunteering in his home community, Sir Travis is the Co Creator and Event Director for SINergy- an Power Exchange/kink education weekend located in West Michigan, served as Vice President of GRALE (Grand Rapids Alternative Lifestyle Enrichment), and is the Founder and Executive Director of MAsT: Grand Rapids.

Throughout the seminar and at its conclusion you will have the opportunity to ask questions and get actual hands on practice. The fun and learning does not end there though, for all first time seminar attendees you may be invited to stay by one of the LRA Board members to practice all of what you have learned in our play space. This will give you a chance to try out what you have just learned as well as meet other members of the club.
All we ask is that you sign our standard guest waiver, have government issued photo identification, to prove that you are over 19 years of age, and that you respect the fact that the LRA is an alcohol and drug free space and that no alcohol or drugs may be brought into the space or ingested at the LRA.
