February 2013 Silent Auction in Madison

MADISON, Wisc. – MadtownKinkfest provides members of our community a safe, fun, supportive, non-judgmental, diverse, environment to promote and enhance alternative lifestyles which brings together sexuality, spirituality, education and play.

We will be holding a silent auction at our February 2013 event. The funds raised from this auction will be donated to the Wisconsin AIDS Network, Leather Heart Foundation, and National Coalition for Sexual Freedom for their work in our community.

The Wisconsin AIDS Network provides comprehensive, community-driven HIV/AIDS prevention and care services throughout southern Wisconsin with offices in Madison, Beloit and Janesville.  From its beginning as the Madison AIDS Support Network, a core value of the agency has been to provide prevention and care services through a network of local partners. Their mission is to offer support, education and opportunities for the well-being of everyone touched by HIV/AIDS .

The Leather Heart Foundation is a 501 © (3) tax-exempt organization created to provide charitable assistance to individuals of all sexual orientations in the Leather, BDSM, and fetish community.

The National Coalition for Sexual Freedom is committed to creating a political, legal and social environment in the US that advances equal rights for consenting adults who engage in alternative sexual and relationship expressions. The NCSF aims to advance the rights of, and advocate for consenting adults in the BDSM-Leather-Fetish, Swing, and Polyamory Communities.

The items donated will be on display throughout the event. So when you’re wandering about between classes, please take the time to look and bid on some of these items. Not only could you take home something new to enjoy, but you’d be helping an organization that is near and dear to our hearts.

If you would like to be part of our silent auction, we’re in the process of collecting items in hopes of making this MadtownKinkfest silent auction a success once again.    By donating an item or service, you’ll be helping both MadtownKinkfest and the above organizations give back to the community. Additionally, you’ll benefit from exposure to those who attend our event. So if you decide to contribute, or simply have questions, please contact me via a PM.

Thanks to a little challenge, I’m hoping to hear from a larger number of people this time around.

We look forward to seeing you all in February!
