CHICAGO – LRA, Chicago’s oldest pansexual BDSM club, in furtherance of its mission of providing educational and social opportunities to the Chicago Alternative Community proudly announces “Dungeon Drama” with Spyn on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 6pm.
The lights are low, the scene music is thumping, the clap of leather on skin is heard, faces are wet with tears; there is a power exchange going on in every corner of the room. You feel the eyes of others caress your every move. Even though you are focused, the attention from others heightens your intensity.
Let’s give them something to talk about! While there is a time to be serious about play there is also a time to let loose, have fun, and put on a show. This can absolutely be done without losing the integrity of the power exchange.
We will take a look at lightening the mood by adding levity to our play. You don’t have to be a thespian (as a girl, you probably didn’t even know you liked girls) or have ever scripted a scene in your life. It doesn’t matter.
All the world’s a stage – and we are going to put on a show!
Is it a comedy? Send in the clowns and rubber chickens. Or maybe it’s a blue collar scene with caution tape and safety cones. Oh! Wait! Let’s get serious and really turn some heads. Put on your Kevlar vests and step onto the minefield. Recreate a scene from Roots or play out the real tragedy from someone’s past.
We will talk about the safety precautions that must be taken when traveling down this road.
It ain’t called a play space for nothing.
About Spyn:
Originally from Chicago, Spyn now lives, works, and plays in Central Illinois. Her journey into alternative lifestyles began when she came out to herself at the age of 12. Going from queer to kink was an easy transition. Being the daughter of a teacher and preacher, education and spirituality are and continue to be cornerstones in who she is and what she does. Reading, attending events, taking classes, and engaging the minds of others is how she furthers her journey.
On Black Friday in 2005 while waiting for the doors to open, Leatherpalooza was born. With Leatherpalooza, Spyn serves her local community by organizing several events throughout the year that focus on education, connection, and community outreach. She also serves the greater kink world by presenting at events.
Spyn’s home is filled with the spirit and philosophy of the lifestyle 24/7 while maintaining her poly family. Her submissive, Duckie, serves the community as a tattoo artist, while her slave bek’s passion for education helps Spyn with events in general. Through their submissive group, Heart of Pleasure, both Duckie and bek serve the greater submissive/slave community as well.

Throughout the seminar and at its conclusion you will have the opportunity to ask questions and get actual hands on practice. The fun and learning does not end there though, for all first time seminar attendees you will receive an invitation to return to the LRA that evening you to practice all of what you have learned in our play space. This will give you a chance to try out what you have just learned as well as meet other members of the club.
All we ask is that you sign our standard guest waiver, have government issued photo identification, to prove that you are over 19 years of age, and that you respect the fact that the LRA is an alcohol and drug free space and that no alcohol or drugs may be brought into the space or ingested at the LRA.
So if the idea of a little slap and tickle with your partner intrigues you, you own more then one copy of the Story of O, or you are just a sincere adult who wants to explore their sexuality please feel free to join us. The LRA welcomes all interested adults so please feel free to cross-post this announcement to any other lists or persons you think might be interested.
