DETROIT – While contests were happening at Campit in West Michigan, and across the lake in Wisconsin, the leather & pup communities turned out full force in Detroit Saturday night at The New Menjo’s Complex, for “Dog Days of Summer,” an evening coordinated by Trooper Long of ICON Detroit.
Dog Days featured the largest pup turnout at a bar in Detroit, with more than 30 pups spotted in collars and tags, or on the padded mosh floor. Handlers included L. Allen Smith of Grand Rapids Rivermen and Tom Buckley of DC Centaurs. Several members of Chicago Hellfire Club were in attendance, as well as Buck, founder of ICON, and Bob of Rochester Rams.
