Cigar Chicago smoker: Friday, June 14

LRA_Logo_frontCHICAGO – Our next smoker is a little special.

June this year turned out to be complicated. Travel. Holidays. Events. Clubs. Whose toes do we not step on first? I posted the quandary about this, and one whose toes I was trying to not step on, stepped up… and neatly solved our “June” problem.

This month, in celebration of Pride month, Cigar Chicago and The LRA join forces – or at least tobacco – as we hold our smoker at the LRA in conjunction with their monthly Cigar and Bootblack night.

This is a special one-time thing, and I’m really proud to do it. But since the LRA is a members-only organization, you can’t just waltz into this one. If you’re not an LRA member (and why aren’t you?) you have to RSVP to this smoker.

Any nonmembers need to email club-services@lra.org and: • RSVP to the event • Tell them they are with the Cigar Chicago Group • Ask for location and directions if you need them

You will need to show a government-issued ID and sign a waiver when you arrive. The name on it needs to match the name you gave on your RSVP.

And of course we always appreciate donations!

Some differences:

  • We can’t drink at the LRA. No booze. Sadly.
  • This is a Friday, not a Sunday. Seriously. Don’t auto-pilot that part 😉
  • Timing is different – this one is later in the evening
  • Also, Cigar Chicago is 18 and over, but the LRA policy is 19 and over. So this smoker will be 19 and over; sorry to the few this might impact. We’ll be back to 18 and over next time!

The Details!

Friday, June 14, at the LRA. Doors open at 9:00pm. We can stay until 3:00am. Bring your favorite cigars (LRA has no humidor!), leave your booze at home, and kick back with a cigar or two and cigar camaraderie with other kinky cigar lovers. There will be bootblacks, and if you want to bring chocolate, that, my friend, would be just fine.

Like a munch, it’s free to attend, but if you can, it’s good manners to show the venue we appreciate them hosting us and leave a donation in the jar inside.

Who is Welcome

All genders, ages (well, 19 and up), experience levels, races, shoe sizes, sexual orientations and preferences, partnership status, poly, D/s, M/s, height, eye color, religions, pet preferences, fitness levels, tax brackets, and pizza topping choices are welcome (even all veggie pizza, if that’s your thing; your pizza is not my pizza, and that’s OK).

Bottom line: if you think this sounds interesting, then yes, it is for you. While couples and groupings are always encouraged to come together (hey, isn’t that always nice?), it’s not a requirement to have a partner to come.

Questions, please feel free to ask. I look forward to seeing you there.
