CHICAGO – Join members of the leather, kink, fetish communities as they vie for the coveted title of Top Chili Chef at JackHammer!
JackHammer will be converted to a kitchen stadium as chili chefs representing the leather and bdsm community gather on Sunday, October 21 at 5 p.m. to ready their special creations – prepared to serve out to the judges at 6 p.m. In this unique contest anyone interested in judging may receive a voting card for a small donation! Taste all of the chili offered and then vote for the one that pleases your taste buds. Cards are limited so get there early! No charge to enjoy the festivities.
Chefs representing: The Chicago Leather Alliance of Women, Chicago Leather Club, Galleria Domain, JackHammer, Leather Rose Association, Masters and Slaves Together Chicago, Ladies Night Out , Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence and Touche are expected to compete among others!
Winning the Best Chili won’t be the only thing up for grabs – to benefit the Broadway Youth Center in Chicago– people in attendance can vote with their donations for the Fan Favorite Chili Chef! Based on donations collected either before or during the evening competition people can vote early and often by donating to the chili chef of their choice. Each chili chef will have a “Pleasure” and “Pain” jar to collect donations. It wouldn’t be a community event if you couldn’t cause a little pain– in addition to good donations –each chef will have a donation container that will count against their final tally. Concerned one chef is getting too many good donations in their “Pleasure” jar? Drop some of your money in that chefs “Pain” jar and cause them to lose votes! All donations will benefit The Broadway Youth Center. The Broadway Youth Center is a program of Howard Brown Health Center and its community partners, offering comprehensive services to youth, ages 12-24 including a safe space for young people experiencing homelessness.
Everyone is welcome to join in on the fun for this first Trident Windy City Chili Cook Off, Sunday Oct 21 at JackHammer 6406 N. Clark St, Chicago at 6 p.m.
