DETROIT – The feet are a part of the body that can be loved or loathed, fetishized or despised, but there is no doubt that this sensitive area can be ideal for many different types of play. The feet are often the target of massages, tickling, pressure point play, and worship, but rarely are they found to be the target of a cane.
This class will focus entirely on the art of bastinado, from the history and safety, through the various implements that can be used to create your desired effect. For some, bastinado can be intensely pleasurable, and for others it is simply intense. ZwiastunaPrawdy will share her own unique perspective on this topic, as she enjoys bastinado from both sides of the slash. She will also cover how bastinado as play differs in mindset from bastinado as punishment.
ZwiastunaPrawdy is as complex as her scene name would be to properly pronounce. Known by most as Dani, she is a born and raised suburban Detroiter who found a home in the local BDSM/kink community in 2011.
Dani self-identifies as a polyamorous switch, pain slut and sadist, a shy extrovert, and a touch junkie with those whom she is close. These seemingly contradictory and wide-ranging labels have led her to relentlessly pursue her passion for knowledge and education. While having attended scores of classes over the past three years, Dani has found a new passion for teaching, always finding she learns as much from teaching as she instructs.
Dani has been active in the Board of Education (The BoE), currently serving as a member of both the Education and Community Relations Committees, Great Lakes Energy Exchange (GLEE), and has served at the Scarlet Sanctuary at an AIS function in Columbus, Ohio. Dani is also passionate about and strongly supports a new project for the community: SE Michigan Power Exchange and Protocol, an open group that will hold a monthly munch allowing those interested in the protocols of our lifestyle to meet and share ideas and perspectives pertaining to those topics.
