SOUTHFIELD, Mich. — The Board of Education will cover the art of marks, as in from flogging or whipping, in its April 24 gathering.

Part of the fun of FetLife is seeing and sharing images of beautiful marks–stripes, bruises, welts, blood and brands. But how are those marks made? What goes into painting the canvas and what are the inherent risks? In this class MestreDaDor will discuss and demonstrate the implements and techniques of marking and how to apply them to achieve your desired results.
Welts and bruises from impact play, branding, cold branding, and cutting are a few of the subjects we will touch on. We will also discuss basic safety, differences in how people mark and the varying degrees of permanence.MestreDaDor has had a lifelong passion for painting pictures with pain. About ten years ago he started exploring the public scene in Ohio and Michigan attending events, classes, and parties – he hasn’t slowed down since. These days one of his primary interests is coming up with new ways of leaving lasting reminders on willing victims.

The Manor Room is located in the lower level of The Quality Inn in Southfield. This is accessible both by elevator (directly across from the check-in counter) or by stairwell (directly ahead and to the right of the check-in counter). Please be respectful of any hotel staff and patrons, and keep all conversations vanilla outside of The Manor Room. Doors open at 7:00pm and class begins at 7:30pm and runs until 9:30pm.
