DETROIT – This week’s class is: Stop! Don’t Stop! – Safewords for Fun and Safety with Paper Valentine
“Stop! Don’t Stop! – Basic and Advanced Safewords for Fun and Safety” is a workshop meant to expand our understanding of how safewords can be used.
Some people don’t use safewords; some only use one scene-stopping safeword, and others have a range of in-between safewords such as “green” and “yellow” to communicate with their partners. Tops, bottoms, and other participants safeword. Many people hesitate to safeword out of fear, pride, nerves, or simple misunderstanding, and we’ll explore this topic in as much depth as participants desire.
We’ll discuss choosing, negotiating, and using different kinds of safewords along with reasons to use them (or not to use them). Paper_Valentine will explore all these possibilities in an interactive setting so that everyone can learn something new, even if they don’t wish to apply it to their current dynamic relationship.
