LEXINGTON – The Bluegrass Leather Weekend Meet-n-Greet was the start to a fun filled weekend at Crossings Lexington where contestants got to meet with their Leather admirers and the judges. Judges this year were Curtis Bass of San Francisco, California; Selena Moon of Cincinnati, Ohio; Lucket Markstone Kiche of DesMoine, Iowa; Michael Locke of Columbus, Ohio; Xander of Columbus, Ohio.

Saturday night November 28th started a new era for Leather in the Bluegrass with BLeW: Bluegrass Leather Weekend, Lexington’s first Leather run weekend hosted by Mark D. Hurte.

This year was a kickoff for Bluegrass Leather Productions & Promotions, LLC. who was proud introduce three new Leather titles into the Bluegrass Leather Legacy.

To a standing room only crowd at Crossings Lexington Mr. Bluegrass Leather 2015 stepped aside handing over the Title of Mr. Bluegrass Leather 2016 to Ray Drury.

For the first time in the Bluegrass Leather Legacy patches were handed out to Ms. Bluegrass Leather 2016 Mory Martinez, Bluegrass Leather Pup 2016 Pup Skorpio Cameron Thompson, and Bluegrass Leather Bootblack 2016 SB.

The contestants raised $800 for AVOL-AIDS Volunteers of Lexington KY from the sales of their gift baskets.

Sunday everyone was served up a BLeW Brunch by Kevin Boyd, manager of Crossings Lexington along with their favorite cocktails and Bloody Marys!

Next year the promoter is looking to expand the weekend to an area hotel where BLeW guests can spend the weekend centrally located with BLeW passes affording them access to the Vendor Mart, Educational Workshops and Demonstrations, Playrooms, Shuttle to local bars & sites of interests, the contest, and a BLeW Sunday Brunch to round out the weekend!

Next fall the Bluegrass Leather contest which will be adding the titles of Bluegrass Leather MASTER & Slave 2017, Bluegrass Leather SIR & boy 2017, and Mr. & Mrs. Bluegrass Leather 2017.
