American Brotherhood Weekend announces judges

CHICAGO — The producers of the American Brotherhood Weekend have announced the judging panel for the 2018 ABW contest.

Lee Carl is a Chicago native who moved back home after 20+ years in Los Angeles. A founding member of the Women’s Leather Network, Co-Founder of LARAWW, Co Producer of Ms LA Leather and Ms World Leather, former columnist for the Leather Journal and Fetish Magazines, Lee educates, cracks wise, and Daddys.

Karri Plowman hails from the Minneapolis/St. Paul region, and has been very active in the leather community. Whether as a co-owner of Twin Cities Leather & Latte, producer of Twin Cities Leather Weekend, or in his role as community advocate and activist, Karri’s impact on his local area has helped further build and strengthen a diverse, energetic community in the Twin Cities region – and beyond.

Daddy Al Santora’s activity in the leather community has spanned over 40 years; in that time, he’s held multiple titles including Mr. Delaware Leather, Mr Philadelphian Leather, and Mr DC Eagle; he is also the sole surviving co-founder of the Mid Atlantic Leather Contest (now known as the Mid Atlantic Leather Weekend). He has MC’ed and judged at dozens of contests over the past decades, supports charities through fundraising, and has received multiple Pantheon of Leather awards. Daddy Al Santora is a member of Centaurs MC, and has served on the board of numerous organizations and events.

Rylee Janus Spire, Mr. Texas Lather 2017, hails from Grand Prarie Texas. Rylee grew up on the South Side of Chicago and has spent the last nine years finding his way in the Texas Leather community. Rylee has served his local community as a Bootblack at the Dallas Eagle, encouraging the education concerning HIV as the Transgender Representative on DFW Team Friendly’s Board, and pursuing education within the community concerning sexuality and gender. Rylee is pleased and honored to represent Texas as Mr Texas Leather at IML 40!

Vonn Tramel is a dominant sadist who claims San Diego her primary home and Atlanta her second home, but her heart is in both cities where one or the other of two partners live. Vonn is an active Leather woman who identifies as a queer low maintenance femme. She has judged several local and international events including LA Leather Bear and North American Pony & Trainer. She is the current owner of the International Olympus Leather Title Circuit, and is the Webmaster for the Leather Journal and Executive Producer for their live broadcasts.
