A2 Polynet Discussion Meeting – Managing Conflict & Poly Transitions, Nov. 21

ANN ARBOR – We have discussion meetings covering various topics every third Thursday of the month at the Jim Toy Community Center. The meetings run from 7:30pm until 9:30pm and then we usually go to a nearby establishment for food/drinks and further socialization!

This month’s topic* is Managing Conflict & Poly Transitions

Conflict is inevitable when people interact. Productive conflict is always preferable to destructive conflict. Likewise, transitioning into, out of, deepening, or cooling down polayamorous relationships can create unique challenges. When conflict is productive it can help a relationship grow and become stronger.  This month, we will discuss the techniques, phrasing, and strategies to ensure that your transitions and conflict steers toward productivity. This discussion will be led by co-facilitators Jess and Cazadora.

The event page for this meeting is located here! Please RSVP!

– *During every meeting there is a half hour of open floor time. During this time you’re invited to bring up any topic, issue, question, or happy poly and share it with the group! Of course if you have something to discuss before the meeting please post it.

Feel free to message me, or post here if you have any questions.

Hope to see everyone there!
