CHICAGO – The Blue Havana Cigar Smoker over IML weekend has become a tradition among Chicago Leather Folk and visitors to the city alike. This year was the 7th Annual smoker and was the first to be sponsored by BLUF. BLUF stands for Breeches & Leather Uniform Fanclub. BLUF was started as an internet club in 1997, & there are now over 3,000 members worldwide.
This was a special year for the Cigar Smoker, as it will be the last that Blue Havana will be able to host. The location is being forced to close & though the Humidor will be added to Blue Havanas parent store “The Alley”, no smoking area will be provided.
As has become expected Blue Havana provided cigar specials to the patrons of the IML Cigar Smoker as well as entertainment playing on their flat panel television. This year the attendance was impressive, in part due to the

promotion for the event provided by BLUF. Many of those involved with the BLUF organization were in attendance including; Sir Michael Fuerrero, Luis Acoitzi, Dillon Halford, Kurt Balder, & Lorenzo Florian.
Hope is that by next years International Mr. Leather Weekend a new location for the smoker can be found so that this tradition can continue.
